Steven P. Benson is a senior partner at the Washington, DC-based law firm of O'Brien, Butler, McConihe & Schaefer, specializing in representing non-profit and tax exempt organizations. A former Navy Judge Advocate General officer, Steve is admitted to the Massachusetts and District of Columbia bars. He received his juris doctorate from George Washington University National Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Steve and his wife, Juli, live in Great Falls, Virginia, and have three children.
Steve Geary is a Supervisory Special Agent with the Department of Homeland Security and is currently assigned as an Operations Manager for the Transportation Security Administration. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University, where he was also enrolled in ROTC, and upon graduation he received a Regular Army Commission and served as an Officer in the Military Police Corps. He left active duty service to start a career in civilian law enforcement, where he has served for the past 23 years to include working as an Arlington County Police Officer, a Special Agent with the Treasury Department, and a Program Manager with the Transportation Security Administration. Steve has also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Northern Virginia Community College. He and his wife, Deb, live in Oak Hill, Virginia, have three children and they attend Reston Bible Church.
Victoria L. Hull currently works for the Fairfax County Electoral Board. For many years, Vickie held key positions in the environmental and energy fields. In addition to working for Edison Electric, a major Washington-based trade association, Vickie was a sales and marketing manager for an environmental consulting firm and also served as a consultant to McGraw Hill on energy issues. Vickie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from the College of William & Mary. She and her husband, Wayne, live in Centreville, Virginia, with their two children and are members of Centreville Baptist Church.
Scott A Kinas is a director of sales operations for Pfizer, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and his Master of Arts from Florida Institute of Technology. Prior to his employment with Pfizer, Scott served nine years as an officer in the United States Army, and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Inactive Ready Reserves. Scott and his wife, Judy, have three children and live in Reston, Virginia. They are members of McLean Bible Church.
James M. Loizou is a Co-founder of Suburban Appraisers & Consultants, Inc., a residential real estate appraisal company. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and a Master in Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University. Prior to self-employment, Jamie worked for a large banking corporation in strategic planning and human resources. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors and Chairman of the Appraiser Committee for many years. Jamie is also the Director of the James School of Dance, a McLean based dance school which has been in his family for almost 50 years. He and his wife, Denise, live in Fairfax, Virginia, have four children and are members of McLean Bible Church.
Daniel M. Mleziva currently works as a Real Estate Agent for Jobin Realty in Fairfax, NVAR Top Producer, Million Dollar Club, and former Certified Residential Appraiser. Dan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Cedarville College and a Master in Education with Honors from George Mason University. He was a partner in a real estate appraisal firm located in McLean, Virginia. He previously worked for Fairfax County Public School as a licensed counselor in Middle and High School. Dan also serves on the Board of Hume Lake Christian Camps located in Fresno, California. He attends Fairfax Community Church with his wife, Mary and their three children. They live in Fairfax Station, Virginia.
Abe Myers is married with two children, Henry & Clara, and residing in Fairfax, VA. He is the Vice-President of a local insurance agency specializing in commercial insurance solutions. His personal interests include spending time with his wife and two children first & foremost, reading history/current events and various outdoor activities & competitive sports
Chris Phelps is an IT Consultant with Microtech LLC in Vienna as well as serving as the Officer-In-Charge of an expeditionary communications unit in the US Navy Reserve; he is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, serving in Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan from 2007-2008. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Liberty University and is working towards a Masters of Science degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland. He was previously an Operations Manager and Senior Systems Engineer with Evolve Partners, Nortel Government Solutions, and Acorn Manufacturing. He holds industry certifications from both Microsoft and Cisco, providing volunteer services to maintain and upgrade NVCA's IT systems. He and his wife Lori (a previous teacher at NVCA) and their daughter reside in Haymarket, Virginia and are members of Park Valley Church.
William R. Zink is a Regional Vice President and Partner at the Fairfax based civil engineering, surveying, and land planning firm of christopher consultants. Bill obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a registered Professional Engineer. Bill has served as the President of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, Fairfax Chapter; an Elder at Providence Presbyterian Church; the City of Fairfax Planning Commissioner for the Northern Virginia Planning District Commission, and the Chairman of the Engineers and Surveyors Institute. Bill resides in the City of Fairfax with his wife, Natalie, and their four children. They attend Fairfax Community Church.
