POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, Northern Virginia Christian Academy will follow the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) closing announcements (Click Here). These announcements will be made through the radio, television and their web site. Or check WTOP. Please do not call the faculty or principal to verify the announcement.
In all cases, it is up to the parents to determine whether travel to and from school can be safely accomplished. Always err on the side of caution.
In the event of snow, NVCA would like your help with snow removal. We have contracted with a snow plow company to remove the snow from the driveway and parking lots. If you are available to help assist with shoveling sidewalks and spreading ice melt please contact t.saunders@nvchristianacademy.org. We are also looking for volunteers with four wheel drive vehicles to pick up workers.
