NVCA is taking applications for International Students
for the '09 - '10 school year.
This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant students.
Northern Virginia Christian Academy is admitting international students into our school to allow American families and students an opportunity to get to know quality students from other countries. Thank you for your interest in our school.
The application forms can be downloaded at the bottom of this page In addition, an official score report of your TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) must be submitted with your application to NVCA.
You must be able to obtain an F-1 Visa to be considered for admission to NVCA. First, download the application forms and apply for admission at Northern Virginia Christian Academy by faxing or mailing back the completed forms. Second, apply for the I-20 with Northern Virginia Christian Academy. Third, make an appointment at the US Embassy after you learn that you have been admitted to NVCA. Fourth, pay the SEVIS Fee (Student Exchange and Visitor Information Service) of approximately $100. This is paid on-line at www.fmjfee.com (Homeland Security/SEVIS).
Fifth, go to the US Embassy/Consulate for an interview.
The visa is a stamp which is placed in your passport by a US Consulate outside the US. The visa permits you to apply to enter the US at an airport or border crossing. It is your Form I-20 document that allows you to remain in the US as a student.
Notify Northern Virginia Christian Academy with the date the student will be in the US ready to report to school.
